Our practice is entirely online for your convenience. We see clients who are based in California, Washington and Oregon.

We use a HIPAA compliant video platform called SimplePractice. You will be sent a link prior to your session which can be used on a computer or phone. You will need to be in a private location that protects your confidentiality. If you are on a computer it is ideal for you to have a wired connection to minimize connection problems.

Our cancellation policy requires 48-hour notice of cancellation. Cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice requires payment in full. If you are unable to attend your session by video, I am available by phone. This method can also be used as a plan for individuals with potential obstacles to attendance such as frequent travel, chronic health issues, COVID-related concerns, and more.

If your insurance covers Out of Network mental health benefits, we can provide a superbill to submit to your provider for reimbursement.

We recommend calling your insurance company and asking the following questions:

  • Does my plan include out of network benefits?
  • Will I be reimbursed for seeing a licensed clinical social worker as an out-of-network provider? Will I be reimbursed for telehealth services?
  • How much of the fee is reimbursed for out-of-network providers?
  • What is my deductible for out-of-network benefits?
  • Have I met my deductible out-of-network benefits?
  • What paperwork do I need to complete to receive out-of-network benefits?
  • How long will it take to be reimbursed for sessions after I have submitted my claims out-of-network benefits?
